Roseate Spoonbill

The species often forms flocks that w ade in shallow coastal waters, mangrove creeks, lagoons, tloodcd marshlands, and swamps. The birds fish by sweeping their broad-tipped bills from side to side through the water, seizing any small fish that they chance to contact.
