Little Eagle

I 'his is a small, compact eagle with a short crest and fully leathered legs. It frequents partly wooded country, soaring and gliding to watch for prey on the ground below, or hunting from a perch. Approaching in low flight, it takes young rabbits and other small mammals, birds, reptiles, and insects.
