Wood Stork

A large stork resembling an ibis, this bird frequents wooded marshland, resting and nesting in the trees. It walks sedately and flies with slow, deliberate wingbeats. The Wood Stork hunts in muddy pools, marshes, and wet grassland, feeding on fish, crustaceans, mollusks, frogs, and insects. In muddy water, it can feel and catch its prey with its bill.
