Yellow-breasted Boatbill

The broadened and flattened bill of this species is adapted for catchi small insects, mainly gleaned from the foliage but also caught in aerial sallies. The Yellow-breasted Boatbill is usually seen in the canopy of rain forest, where it sometimes joins mixed-species parties of insectivorous birds.
